How do I add my Listing?
Please note: we're only accepting listings for the towns of Oakhurst, Coarsegold, Yosemite Lakes Park, Ahwahnee, Bass Lake, Fish Camp, North Fork, Mariposa, and businesses within the park.
To submit a listing, first Register for a site account (FREE). Then log in, and it will let you submit a listing.

All basic listings are free of charge.
My listing is there, but how do I edit it?
You can have full control of editing your listing by "claiming it."
First, Register for a free site account. Then once you've registered, login, find your listing again and click CLAIM LISTING. The staff will then review your claim and approve it. It might take up to 24 hours for us to verify your claim. Once it's approved, you'll be able to edit any of the information.

My business is in the wrong category
- You can email us and let us know and we'll fix it. Or...
- If you'd like to claim and manage your own business listing, Register for a free site account. Then once you've registered, login and go to the listing and click CLAIM LISTING. The staff will then review your claim and approve it. Once it's approved, you'll be able to edit any of the information.

Can I add my business to more than one category?
At this time, no. Each listing can only be in one category. HOWEVER you can create a second listing (free) for your business for a second category. Just remember to edit both if your information changes.
Can I add images to the listing?
You can upload one image, that will show on the listing itself. We recommend you use that for your logo.
The purpose of this site is to get people to click directly to your website, or contact you. Therefore your listing TEXT and website address is most important!
What is a Verified Listing? (Checkmark)
A verified listing means that the listing has been claimed by its owner and they now have the ability to manage and edit it. There is no charge to claim (verify) a listing.
What is a Featured Listing?
Featured listings are paid promotions that put your company at the top of all the listing pages, especially in your category. To feature your listing:
- Make sure you have a free account on the site by registering and logging in.
- Click on the person in the upper right hand corner and go to LISTINGS.
- Click on the STAR next to the listing you want to promote, and follow the prompts.
Featured listings last for 3 months, and do not automatically renew.
Why was my listing rejected?
The usual reasons for this are:
* It's a duplicate of a listing already in the Directory
* The address is too far from the surrounding communities of Yosemite National Park. We are currently accepting listings for the communities of Oakhurst, Coarsegold, Yosemite Lakes Park, Ahwahnee, Bass Lake, Fish Camp, North Fork, Mariposa, and businesses within the park.
Why can't I create a listing as a Real Estate Agent?
Currently we're only adding Real Estate Agencies, not individual agents. But soon you'll be able to purchase an ad that will appear on either the Agency listings page or the Home Page. Stay tuned!
Why aren't any events listed in the Directory?
This site is dedicated to listing businesses in the Yosemite mountain towns. There are many other sites where you can find the happenings and events at any given time. Here's some good ones:

How can I get a Listing Removed?
If your business has closed permanently, or you'd like a listing removed, email hello@nearyosemite.com. Once we verify that you are the owner and/or have authority to make the request for removal, we will remove the listing from the directory.
If your business is temporarily closed and will reopen in the future, we recommend keeping the listing in the directory and putting that information in the Description field.
